Want to Volunteer

If you would like to volunteer at our place you most likely are very welcome.
This means you need to get a hold of us as well, and many people use the comment field for this, which makes it hard for us to plan it all.
The best thing would be to either use the contact field or drop us an email with the following information:

• Who you are, your name, your age and your volunteering interests are. Do you want to work with gardens and some carpentry, or are you a full time earthship super(wo)man that want to pound tires til your ears bleed.
• When you would like to come
• How long you would like to stay
• If you have any special diet (we serve vegetarian food).

Who are we?

We are a group of seven wonderful people who is starting to build our future homes just outside the village of Skattungbyn, a beautiful place in Dalarna with view of the great Finnskogen.

What work do we need help with?

We are building an earthship, with more too come! We are soon finished with half of the tire-structure and we hope too finish this in mid summer, this means pounding tires and the work around that. Not complicated but sweet heavy work too the sound of dub step/reggae. We are also preparing the grounds around for future growing areas and structures. We have plans to build a greenhouse and a tool shed this summer along with upgrading our toilet facility and eating area. We also have some grounds for producing food this year.

How much do we want you too work?

We want six hours of your life per day, five days a week.

When do we want help?

See the announcements for details. We have a roof for six volunteers at a time.

What activities can we offer?

We can offer a wide variety of fun/cool/deep activities, for example Yoga, meditation, weekly capoeira trainings, tree climbing, volleyball, dancing, nude bathing, dressed bathing, hand crafting and laughing.

What type of living can we offer?

You will have the luxurious chance to experience openness with nature. We can offer tipi/military tent, if you want more privacy we recommend you bring your own tent. We will have some for lending out, not guaranteed rainproof.
This is because of our current building-process, in the future we will be able to offer more Babylonian living.
