Nu har vi grävt färdigt och nu ska jag ut och mäta ut husets placering en gång till och lägga ut däck så att allt kommer på plats och vi kan beräkna mer exakt hur många däck vi kommer behöver samt mer få en bättre inblick hur huset kommer bli i självaste verkligheten.
Jag är halvt i extas nu och kan inte skriva mer än så för jag bara måste ut och fixa.

Aaaah… jag önskar jag kunde vara där och hjälpa till! Hoppas ni lär er mycket och att allt fortsätter att går bra. Hur mycket har allting kostat hittills? Visst får man väl pengar av mackar/bildemonteringar för att ta deras däck som ligger och skräpar? Eller har ni kollat nånting på den biten?
Exciting times dudey, I WILL be coming up to pound some tires as soon as New Earth Villages has it’s transport! I’ll try and bring a wee tire pounding team even if it’s just for a weekend (well, we need to get ours roofed in before Winter you understand otherwise we lose the six months of Winter where we could have been finnishing off the inside and getting systems hooked up…..phew…gasp, gasp….).
Heard also about your letter from the Kommun….I wouldn’t mind coming up and giving a pre-arranged Earthship health and safety presentation for your previously mentioned neighbours…try and set some minds at ease (and take their pulse for future reference at the same time ;-))
NEV WILL be looking more closely at potential Earthship sites round by where you are so please keep us in the loop…..I have a plot hatching that is so cunning you can brush your teeth with it!!! ;-)

En del får betala för att få dem bortkörda har jag förstått det som. Andra behöver inte, har ingen aning om varför det ligger till på det viset dock.
jag tror inte det är så många som betalar för det längre då vissa får sina däck omhändertagna. De köper säkert någon tjänst från Rangsells eller nåt åt det hållet kan jag tänka mig.
Tja! Ligger i samma funderingar som er… alltså att bygga jordskepp. Får man fråga om nån av er är ingeniörer eller har erfarenhet av att bygga hus sen innan? Eller om det är nåt man kan lära sig som amatör medan man håller på…

Kul att du är intresserad av jordskepp, och att du vill bygga.
Ingenjörer, nä. Vi har ingen akademisk utbildning bakom oss, dock har jag varit med och byggt på andra jordskepp, diskuterat och studerat jordskeppstanken sen 2004. Och under 2001 jobbade jag med att bygga om ett kontor till ett gym för Skanska.
Läser man böckerna och följer deras struktur och beskrivning så kommer man långt. Den är väldigt genomgående.

Hej. Ælskar detta projektet. Ett stort problem bara. Jag vill inte førstøra det hela før er men att bygga med gamla dæck ær relativt farligt. Dæck læcker kemikalier øver tid. Detta andas ni då in. Det finns inga studier som ær gjort på detta men ændå, detta ær något man borde ta på allvar før att du ska ju ha barn som ska væxa upp i huset, inte sant? Bygg med något annat istællet!
Intressant tanke, som tur är har du fel och det finns studier på detta. Dessutom är alla däck helt inkapslade och helt täta från någon kontakt med någonting så dina fakta stämmer inte.

Samt att däcken läcker mest vid friktion och i kontakt med vatten över längre tid, så att säga att däck är farligt att ha i hus är inte i närheten lika miljöfarligt som det är att ha dem på bilen och köra på en regnig motorväg, detta är något de flesta verkar glömma bort.
